Welcome to Mentally Interesting...

This is my little self-improvement experiment. Here I discuss mental health, weight loss, debt elimination, parenthood, pop culture and generally whatever gets me thinking. Be forewarned, we go for brutal honesty here; however, I do play well with others and so should you.

T-Minus 4 weeks

I’m 36 weeks along and huge. And tired. And fighting boredom. Bedrest really loses all its charm and luster after the 2nd day.

I’m on day 14.

Yes, those are my Tweety-bird pjs. I’m on bedrest, what did you expect?

I have a letter for Miri that I’ve decided not to post, but I wanted to offer a quick update for you, my lovely readers. The doc may be inducing labor come next weekend (around the 27th or so) since Miriam will be full-term (37 weeks) and it will get me out of high blood pressure and bedrest purgatory.

In the meanwhile, I read lots of books and watch Animaniacs on dvd. Restlessness ensues…

    MC you look great.
Strange but I loved the way my wife looked when she was pregnant. Ok, I’m a freak. :0)
Honestly, eat right and get your sleep.
A special prayer will be said this weekend for you.
    Be well.
Thanks so much for all your visits to my blog.
    Always appreciated.

    awww! So round! squee!

That soon! I best get a little something off in the mail then (it takes me months to get to the post office, esp in winter…)

I just wanted to let you know that I read your blog all the time. I know how much bed rest blows and wanted to let you know I’m pulling for you and Miri.

Hope you have a little bell that you can ring so a greased up Swede can come hand feed you grapes every time the whim hits you. It’s the least your doctor can provide for you since forcing bed rest on you.

  4. Jane Says:

Good luck! Bed rest definitely stinks, and I’m sorry you’re dealing with all this.

hopefully you won’t be cooped up in there too many days and you have an easy recovery
